Hope Trent plays like he did vs NC also those big guys for them have to guard our smaller quicker fowards. We should be able to push the tempo all game long.

A+M is not a great outside shooting team (kind of like Louisville when we played them) I expect that we'll see some zone defense; but we're going to have to rebound well, stay out of foul trouble, and hit our outside shots to have a chance (things we didn't do against an undersized UNLV team).
BTW - If anyone complains about our seed or matchup - take a look at #3 seed Xavier having to play #14 Georgia, who just won the SEC tourney. That's not much of a gift if you're Xavier.
with how plaisted has played recently-i wouldn't expect him to be leaving for the nba anytime soon. he's had double double's sure, but he has let too many guys have their way with the basket...i would bet plaisted will have a thorough look at his recent defenseless defense and be well-prepared for the coming game. As far as uCla (whatever the white c means) he'll have to play perfect O and D. Go Cougs

but so far this year BYU is 2-5 against tournament teams, I'm not really sure I like those odds. I don't know what A&M's schedule looked like but BYU hasn't played very well against other tourney teams this year . . .
Also, I really don't like our odds against UCLA in anaheim if BYU wins their first game, but right now, I don't know if BYU really has a great chance to win this game . . .
we were beating them at half time in LA last year. I know they are probly better now, but so are the Cougs-UCLA will look past us and we'll block another field-goal to win at the end
