I don't know if it has been mentioned that you can watch this game online for free from the ncaa web site. I know my dad is watching the game on tv, but it keeps tabs on all the games. Online, you can stick with just the byu game.
The team didn't start out strong. They lacked emotion. I hope they come out with much more fire and attack the basket.
SIDE NOTE: The whole team had better practice their free-throws this summer (and their offensive rebounding skills).
I can't stand Majerus (considering his recent foot/mouth disease) but his U teams that always did well in the tournament were fundamentally sound teams. Amazing how "the little things" can win ballgames. I love Rose but would love to see him turn the program around in that regard, where we're solid ball control, free throw, rebounding, defensive, etc.
We're getting there I hope.
BYU used to lead the MWC in freethrow shooting under Cleveland. Rose's problem is he has Plaisted, Miles and Collinsworth, who are terrible from the line. The rest of the squad shoots very well, about 80 percent.
Back in the glory days all 5 on the floor could shoot well. It was always a trademark of BYU for sure. I guess what's frustrating as well is you hear they shoot well in practice but it doesn't translate to the game. (That's an issue with the mental. Where's Gunk's psychologist?)
