Tomorrow will be the fifth day of Spring practice and we have yet to hear from anyone with any sort of inside knowledge as to what has been happening. McGregor, Cruiser, is there nothing you can tell us? The media blogs have all been about the bball tournament. I expected to hear a little something by now.
Fui looks like the Fui from 06: mean and having a good time out there and he appears to have gotten a step back. The team mentality on the field was clear as new guys/second teamers appeared to have a hard time keeping up in the drills, especially the defensive pursuit drills. CJ Santiago looks to have fixed whatever was going on in his punting early on in the season and is still recovering from some shoulder surgery so isn't taking more than 20-30 kicks a day.
The wideouts look great! Luke Ashworth may not be a huge contributor this year but he will have his moments. He is getting back the per-mission form more and more each day and his effort will get him some minutes in Bronco's system. Collie is still a freak... enough said. He does look to have put on some more size though so that'll be good.
I know that we are deep in LBers but I am still concerned with who is going to step up and fill that huge void. We'll see how they do through spring ball. The DB's/Safety's look pretty good for only a few days back playing again. the O-line is still impressive and look like they will be better than last year.
I can't think of anything else that really stood out to me from what I have seen... I'll write more if I can think of anything else.
