what we should hope for is a little extra motivation. UW is planning on unveiling a 1984 national championship banner next year. Let's up they chose the BYU game to do it! :-)

I remember in 1985 when we had no defense and beat UW 31 to 3 in Provo!!! Just another weak WAC team!

Don James was a class act. He was a defense-minded coach, but basically brought the same team to Provo that beat Barry Switzer's Oklahomely Sooners in the Orange Bowl. He said nothing about "We should have been the National Champs" because he has us on the schedule.

It seems they have a little info on BYU. They seem to think that BYU and the MWC don't care for defenses.

From what I've seen, UW cares a lot less about offense (and winning games). From what I've seen (granted, it was last year), we don't need much of a defense.

This COULD be a huge win for us. If we just take care of business, don't have stupid to's and penalties, and forget that we're playing on the road, it could be a double-digit win.

i agree they were no that good offesnively last year and they'll liely be even less so with a new O-line, Wr, and RB. this game should be an double digit win.
