Thank you, guys. I'm a little surprised and humbled by the reaction. When I was writing the article, I kept thinking, "This is no good. There's no meat, no specifics."

Either I was wrong, or you guys are REALLY desperate. I laughed when I read Cougarageous's post about my articles being too short. This one was almost 2,500 words, by far the longest one I have written so far.

Thank you again. Your kind responses have put a smile on a weary face at the end of a long day.

Wow! That article was amazing! I believe all of that is true! We have some amazing players at the Y! I'm really excited about the whole team this season. The offense will be amazing! I predict the offense will be close to forty points a game. But I'm also really excited about the defense! I know the secondary will be young! But I believe their will be more man to man this year. As well the cougs will blitz more this year. I'm just speculating. But from the recruits that we will have in the secondary this year. Brooks, Pittman, Brandon Bradley, and the new dude Andrew Rich.
I think the defense will be overall better then last years. But I am and I know everyone else is really going to miss Bryan Kehl. The dude is a stud and one amazing athlete! I still remember the air force game last year when the air force running back was ahead of everyone and Bryan Kehl was ten too fifteen yards behind them all. And I just remember Kehl sprinting past everyone even our defensive backs to get the running back before he hit the end zone! It was sweet! Go cougs! I can't wait for the season too start!

Actually this was a good sized post, but it just leaves us wanting more. Keep them coming Cruiser because they are much appreciated.

I remember when I was in high school and watched the movie Braveheart in the theater for the first of like four times. As I watched it, the movie kept me on the edge of me seat, right up to the very end when William Wallace was having his guts pulled out while laying on the executioners table. During the whole time he had been tortured he said nothing and made no noise but as his guts were being spilled onto the table in which he lay he struggled to say something to the executioner who had been mocking him through the whole ordeal. As the executioner raised his hand to silence the crowd, who by this time was pleading for William Wallace to be granted mercy, by telling them that the prisoner wished to say something. Of course the crowd and executioner were thinking that William Wallace was going to ask for mercy which then would allow him a swift and pain free death by having his head cut off. With the crowd quiet William Wallace with all the strength he could muster yelled "FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOM!" with his dying breath. It was at this point in the movie my friends and I felt like standing up and yelling the exact same thing. It was that powerful.

That's what your post was sort of like. After i read it I wanted to shout, "Goooooooooo, Coooooouuuuuugaaaaaars!" at the top of my lungs, I felt like tackling something, or punting a football...something... anything, because I was so juiced. Unfortunately for me, my wife was napping on the couch and so I couldn't yell. The only thing close enough for me to tackle were my two little girls and so that was out of the question. So I went outside thinking I would find something to punt and all I could find was my neighbors dog, which I knew he wouldn't approve of. So needless to say I had all this energy and nothing to do with it.

Oh please, let fall get here soon.

Go Cougs!

You've got me cracking up again, Cougarageous. Karma for not punting the dog.

Cruiser,

I have read on a few boards about this article and the responses are all the same. IT'S THE BUZZ OF BYU BOARDS THIS WEEK.

Karma to you for keeping the Glory of BYU football alive during this Spring and off-season. That is an article I have saved and will be reading once a week.

Do you think it would be all right to use it as the HT message next month?

I thought I'd just use this thread to talk about the travesty that is Cruiser's April FOOLISH day post at cougarlegion.com. I just can't see the value of the paranoia in the BYU football department.

What did Cruiser post that could anyway be construed to harm the team. Maybe a little marcom would be just the ticket to coming out of obscurity and being a program of natioal prominance.

I got excited about this site when I found it last spring. Then we got word from Cruiser that would not be posting here out of respect for team wishes. Then we start to get the better formulated articles on cougarlegion and I got excited again. Now my hopes of any decent inside information are dashed. What doed Potkey have over Cruiser except a license to write (at least we still have Potkey).
