Without giving them too much props, there are several other teams in the conference that have decent to good defenses in the last several years:
TCU
Utah
New Mexico
The MWC, unfortunately, has more parity, top to bottom, than most other conferences. This is because the defenses, for the most part, are ahead of the offenses, and keep the games in check. This allows for "anybody can win on any given Saturday".
I would LOVE to see an Oregon-esque-type beatdown on UW's own field... While that may be a tall order, I don't see that as unobtainable:
1) Get an early lead in the game.
2) Get Washington out of their comfort zone: i.e. force Locker to throw more than he wants vs allowing him to run the ball.
3) Pin your ears back on defense and let the snowball roll...
