that is not exactly true. x had several early offers including ones from both lsu and byu. he was on the map for other big schools as well, but after him performance at the army all-star camp it really exploded (which is what i think you are refering to).
tui was getting alot of notice as well, and is a big-time player. however with his family situation i never expected he would leave the state, and i'm glad we got him.
i'm not holding my breath for either x or martinez. your statement that it would be a "coup" if byu was to land them both doesn't take it far enough. it would be a "coup" if we were to land one of them. if somehow we landed them both, i would start looking for the end of the world, as i'm pretty sure that's one of the "signs of the times".
