what are you talking about? you bet Chow knows the offensive players...he's an offensive guru...i'm sure he's dissected film and met with players/asst.coaches, etc...I'll remind you Ben Olson has come out 2 years in a row as a starting QB-solid until injuries happen...then slowly comes back. He's got a great arm: watch their yewt game '06, it's great.
UCLA may have planned a bye for a coincidence just before coming to Provo, but i'm sure they don't mind having it just before BYU

Sorry, Tim. Ben Olson has sucked. He has had ONE good game (the 06 game against Utah you mentioned)-and that wasn't anything to write home about. The only thing his strong arm will be good for this year is holding a clipboard and sending in signals to either Cowan or to the Sophomore that played pretty well in the LV bowl (as a Freshman).

i hope your right-when he's on it's scary...i do enjoy the fact that since his transfer he has had a lot of clipboard time.

Not sure where you're seeing that they have a bye ahead of BYU. The schedule I saw on the bruinsnation link shows them playing Tennessee (at home) on Sep 6 ahead of the Sep 13 matchup at BYU. Their bye week looks to come the last week of September as they play Arizona on Sep 20 and then WSU on Oct 4.

That game was moved up to Sep 1st-Labor day, and their opener was moved to another date. They'll have four or five extra days to prepare.

What? You're right-that one time (out of 2 seasons) that he was sort of on, he was kinda scary
