Commercial Real Estate - SLC, Utah. Grew up in Provo and a life long Cougar fan. Attended BYU football, basketball, and tennis camps. Was a ballboy for BYU basketball back in the hay days and was nearly spit on by one of the guards playing for the USSR when they came. That was scary for a 12 year old. Still have a blue/white basketball from Frank Arnold BBall camp signed by the team...Ainge, Trumbo, Kite, Roberts, Runia, Craig, etc.

Have always loved football and my family had season tickets and attended most Holiday Bowl games. I remember playing on the hill where the North stands currently stand during half time of games back in the late 70s early 80s. They used to bring in temp bleachers in the endzones...it is a different stadium experience now! I have seen many great football games but The National Championship and the win against Miami at home are the two favorites. Looking for some more good ones this year.

Small town doctor in Colorado (had to move into the MWC footprint from the Texas Hill Country 2 years ago when BYU went off of ESPN gameplan and the Mtn was started - suckers ). BYU connection started in the Virgil Carter days where my father spent a little time as a Cougar offensive lineman. LaVell really might remember all of his players as legend has it. 40 years after my father played, his brother caught up with missionary Lavell who apparently was able to describe the Dallas recruit who had come to Provo well before LaVell was made HC. My BYU time caught glimpses of the Covey/ Detmer/ Tom Young (gotta include bowl game stars and physics lab partners even though starting time was limited)/ Walsh/ Shad Hansen eras(see T. Young comment - Shad was MLB rather than a QB, but was a first aid class partner - there wasn't any way I was getting my arms all the way around him for the Heimlich - and it appeared to be all solid as a rock). Now married with 4 die hard Cougar fans for another generation. Married a Texas girl who never found her way to the Y, but on my way to converting her - she's severely outnumbered now since all the kids have seen the light! - she finally agreed to go to the Women's football clinic this year - anybody know planned dates or schedules?

As for BYU connection, it runs deep in the family. Dad and brother played for the Y, Grandpa was going to coach, but decided to become an NFL scout instead. Two brothers wrestled for the Y and became cheerleaders after the team was cut. I had an injury cut my career short, otherwise I would have added my name to the list.

Personally, I am a BYU grad in Sociology and Business Management and I currently work as Exploration Project Manager for a small Utah-based oil and gas company. However we are moving the end of the month to Waco, Texas so I can attend Baylor Law School. Was going to attend BYU Law School, but BYU dropped their oil and gas offerings, and Baylor offered full-ride + living stipend, and where they are on the quarter system I can attend year-round and take the bar in July '09 as opposed to July '10 at BYU (not that you care, but I feel the need to justify attending anything but BYU)

I am a development manager and programmer for a library/technology company in Provo. I also attend BYU, in my free-time outside of work. I actually work at the same company Aaron King used to work out (before we cleaned house )

As to my connection to BYU my great-great Uncle was the first president of BYU, I grew up watching and attending BYU football games, I remember meeting Steve Young, Jim McMahon, Ty Detmer, and so on throughout the years.
