I guess I'll play too. I am an elementary teacher in SW Washington. Always been a big Cougar fan. Went there right after the mission, got married and moved closer to wife's family. Ended up graduating from WSU so I am technically a Cougar. My claim to fame is that I was unofficially recruited by Norm Chow at the Subway in Burley, ID. My wife and I were stopped there on a trip back to Provo. I recognized him right away. In the sandwich line he saw the BYU sticker in the car window, asked if I was a student and if I was interested in playing football. I am pretty big and did play varsity ball in HS. So, I can honestly say I was recruited by Norm Chow, even if it was extremely unofficial.
Where abouts in SW washington? I lived in vancouver until I was 16 (fairly close to evergreen high school)?

It is beautiful. My work commute is 30 mins on a two lane highway through a national scenic area. I have definitely had worse. I usually don't mind the rain but this Winter/Spring has been unusually wet and cold so I am starting to get a little stir crazy.

All my kids graduated from Washougal High. We lived there from 1991 - 2003 (Mt. Norway Ward). I was on the city council until we sold our house and moved to AZ in 2003.
Where do you live in the Gorge? I spent 14 months living in North Bonneville (2005-6) while working a contract job in Stevenson.
