Underclassmen declaring for the draft without hiring an agent is common practice. Last year Jaycee Carroll of USU did the same thing. It is actually a smart move, Trent will be evaluated and get to play against some other talent if he gets invited to some of the pre-draft camps. He can also gauge what the interest is of NBA teams. Now, if he does all this and then decides to hire an agent, well then that would be stupid. He still needs one more year to develop...but this is a good way to get his name out there.
