I think michigan won't be that tough either. i expect them to do ok because honestly the Big Ten is overrated but they are trying to run a offense that one Utah runs and therefore their defense will likely now it better then Michigans offense, and two they are trying to runan offense that they simply don't have the right guys to run yet. Not to mention they have had a lot of good players quit the team.

If Utah beats Michigan it will be the biggest headline of the opening week. It will overshadow BYU's dominance over Northern Iowa.

Utah wont win in the big house. Michigan still has 4 years of top of the line recruits waiting for there chance. Michigan might not be good compared to other Big 10 teams but they are still better than the second place team from the MWC. Especially on there own home field.

If Corbin Louks is is not named the starting quaterback for the Michigan game, I predict he will be no more than 3 games into the Utes' season. I think he's a better QB and bigger threat than BJ, with more upside.

I highly doubt that, unless BJ gets injured again.

I agree playing at Mich favors Mich big time; but the Big 10 is very overrated. Their record in bowl games the last 5 years shows that.

Last year the Big 10 went 3-5 in bowl games, the three wins were all by less than a touchdown and of course Illinois got embarassed by USC.
The only impressive win was that of Mich over Florida...go figure.


I also think that Utah will be a better team than last year and sadly I wouldn't be shocked if we came into SLC with a perfect record and struggled to leave with one. The rivalry is just built that way.

If there was ever a year that BYU benefits from Utah being good, it's this year (provided we beat them).
