Jazz Game in HD 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 87
Apparently the Jazz game tonight will be broadcast again in KJZZ-HD. I missed the first HD broadcast, and I am confused as to how to get the over the air HD broadcast (KJZZ-HD is not available on satellite or cable systems as of yet).

Do I just need to pick up a digital antenna or what?

Any help would be appreciated.

hmm, that could be tougher to get a signal. I live in west jordan and get crystal clear over the air hd, but I'm a little closer to the source.

My advice would be to try an old pair of bunny ears first (if you don't have one, I'm sure one of your neighbors probably does).

You'll need to hook it up to your tv (just like you would any other tv), then you'll have to go into the settings and let the tv scan for channels. You may have to change the direction the uv loop is pointing in (don't mess with the dipoles they won't make a difference.

If that doesn't work you can try buying an HD specific antenna (I have a Terk that I got fram amazon for 30 bucks), but from where you live you might want to go with a roof antenna.

Hope that helps.

I have a $7 antenna I bought at best buy, and it pulls in all the local HD channels in HD, no problem.
