I have several friends who ran the Salt Lake Marathon today so my 11 year old son and I went to the race to cheer them on. As usual my son wore a BYU shirt and hat (he would wear them to church if we would let him and I have considered it

).
We were standing on the corner of 3rd East and 9th South waiting for my friends to come by and a moron yewt fan (redundant I realize) hangs out of his window and yells "Go Yewts!" My son looks at me and with a straight face says, "He shouldn't swear like that, Dad." Made me laugh out loud and thought the rest of you would enjoy that.
I told him the next time someone said anything to us we would just respond with "4th and 18!" but no one did, unfortunately.

We did have many that said, "Go Cougars!" as we were cheering on the runners.
The other day his older sister was discussing different colleges to attend and the U was mentioned for one of her friends. My son responded with, "Why would you want to go to hell?" It makes a father proud!!
