Washington Center hurt during scrimmage 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 17
Washington starting center (2nd team all Pac-10,Outland Trophy watch list) was hurt during their scrimmage on Friday. The severity has not been released but he was put in an air cast and rode off on a golf cart, doesn't look good. Tough loss considering the center usually makes the blocking assignments.

To be clear, I am not celebrating the injury of a BYU foe. Just keeping track of the teams BYU will be playing and thanking Bronco for not playing starters very much during Spring.

It would be interesting to see what the injury is and how long he will be out.

You're a better man than I am.
Seriously though, we need Washington to get by Oregon without the guy, get their butt handed to them by the Cougars, then get the guy back and LAY waste to the entire Pac-10. Same with UCLA. The Pac-10 champion needs to come down to the two teams we play, so we get some respect off of their success. As soon as the last whistle blows in both of our two games with them, we oughta become HUGE Husky and Bruin fans (funny, now that I think about it, since I did grow up in Alaska) Our success this year, unfortunately, lies in large measure with the success of our competitors.

I think this is okay news for us. I would rather they pull an Arizona and we beat them and they not do all that great in the pac10 than we lose and they win the pac10.
Although I wouldn't want them to pull an Arizona and we lose to them and they not do too well in the pac10 either!

Of course the best senario is that we beat them and UCLA and WA wins the Pac-10...wait I can't cheer for TY...UCLA wins the PAC10. One of the guys that wouldn't put us in the top25 at the end of the year last year. Sour grapes just because we cost him his ND job. Well, guess what Ty? We are going to get you fired from WA too!

There's no way UCLA competes for the PAC-10 title. Their O-line is a mess and their QB's are a big question mark. The reports from their spring practices constantly harp on how ugly the offense looks. The other constant is the "we've got 23 highly-recruited athletes coming in who can help us immediately." I don't think a team that is counting on freshman for help is going very far.
I honestly don't know about Washington.
