The really stupid think is that now he is not going to be able to go to college at all. I wonder how long he'll last in the arena league, 1 maybe 2 years, then what? I hope he likes to mow lawns.

Why would he not be able to "go to college at all"?

Did he mean that he'd lose his elegibility to play ball?

The impression I got was that he was quitting college because they wouldn't give him a scholarship
Now did they not give him a scholarship before or after he decided not to show up for team meetings and showing up late for practices...I think he is twisting the story to make the Grizz look bad...seems like a strategy he has tried before.

FYI

He can still play in college. The league does not affect ones eligibilty.

Q. Do I lose any college eligibility by playing for The Phoenix?
A. Since you are not being compensated in any way to participate, you will not lose any NCAA or NAIA eligibility if you play for The Phoenix. In fact, several of our players have restarted their careers by playing for us before getting chances to play college football and even the CFL.

Do you really think he will play?
