I have to say, she is in a much tougher spot than you are. First, she is pregnant w/o any preperation (i.e. committed husband, stable home). I think you are the one better off. I had something like this happen to me in college. A close friend of mine asked me one day why I was dating another friend of mine "girlfriend". When I asked her about it she lied and said he was just a friend and that she had almost nothing to do with him. I trusted my first friend and just told her thanks but no thanks. Turns out she was pregnant from my second friend. He ended up breaking up with her a short time later because he found out she had been dating me and wasn't about to betray a friend. I look at my situation now and am so thankful that I didn't waste any more time with someone like that. A year later I met my beautiful wife and the rest is history.

Here is what I was blessed with. And we just added a fourth that looks just like his older brother. I have to say, when you live your life right on and off the field magical things happen.

Sorry about you loss man. Although, sounds like you're better off. We have all had our hearts broken, I think it's part of life, opposition and all that. What is good to see is the support you're recieving. My wife says that men don't have very good support systems. She is right for the most part, us being so tough we think we can do ourselves. Talk to other and listen to them and you'll make it, perhaps be better for it.

But if the girl would do something like that, are you really losing much?

That's something to think about.

Imu, Cute kids!

Now for a little comic relief for cougfan:
A man got pulled over for doing 30 over. When the cop came to the window he says, "I get off in ten minutes and don't want to do the paper work so if you can explain to me why you were going 30 over I might let you off." The driver says "My wife ran off with a cop last week and when I saw you chasing me with you lights on I thought you were trying to return her."

And now for my venting moment, today is our third anniversary. The day we got married my wife was sick and remained that way through the honeymoon. The next year I was sick. The following year my wife was sick and had morning sickness. Today I woke up and have thrown up twice. April 23rd is cursed or something.

I understand how you feel, but probably not at your level.

IIRC, President Hinckley's dad told him "to forget himself and get to work".

If you're not currently employed, get a job. Better yet, finish your education. Find a hobby; do some service. Bottom line is get into doing something that you enjoy; stay engaged (no pun intended).

They'll be plenty of other girls to date, so that you can find the right one for you to marry and have a family.

Live life with no regrets (I'm still learning from that, since I have plenty of 'em...)
