Damn, I've been paying too much attention to politics lately. For a moment there I was wondering what Jorgensen had to do with Trent Lott. Thought maybe Jorgensen was a poly-sci major...

With league coming to grips that Collie is a difference maker could this really hurt his stats as teams will game plan against him? Isn't that what happen to Watkins in that because he was so good teams had to defend him tight and therefore shut him down; but nonetheless opened the way for Collie in his freshmen year. So to say that he will have a break out year...I wonder not out of lack of ability but merely because teams KNOW he is good and will therefore play him tough. Thoughts?

I think he is one of those players that you can game plan against but you still can't stop. A quick look off and the safety turns his hips the wrong way and Collie is gone. And with all the talent running out for passes (Reed, George, Unga, Tonga, Fui, Pitta, and others), I think Hall will spread the ball enough to make the "D" occasionally forget about Collie and then it is too late for the "D".

Collie is way better than Watkins hoped to be, plus Collie's supporting cast is stronger and if opposing teams want to focus soley on him, they will get burned by any number of players...Pitta, Unga, Fui, Reed, etc.

That's why it will be important for a second receiver to really step up this year, like Reed. Or maybe one of the younger receivers.
