Careful, as much as I really hate Jerry Jones, I still really love the Dallas Cowboys! Fortunately Al Davis is still around so we Dallas fans aren't faced with having the worst owner in the NFL.

But to the Pacman Jones signing, until I see otherwise I am going to chalk that up to Jerry just doing his good citizen attempt to help reform a troubled soul. By "chalk up" I mean rationalize why you would want to take someone with a horrid past because you thought you could get something for practically nothing! ;)

Go Cougs!!!

I dont' think Jerry Jones is close to the worst owner in the NFL. At least he wins. Ask a KC Chiefs (or Jets, Or Bills, or 49ers, or Texans) fan if he'd like to have Jerry as their owner. He's abrasive and is willing to take on a trouble maker to win, but the true test of a good owner is happy fans and Cowboys fans are not unhappy.

Life in general:
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Mike Huckabee
3. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson
4. George Bush
5. Bud Selig

6. Anyone that profits off celebrity journalism

In relation to college sports:
1. Miles Brand and the BCS
2. Bobby Knight (good riddance, you're a horrible example to kids)
3. Mike Belloti and Phil Knight (Oregon is the epitome' of Pac 10 snobbery)
4. Patsy T. Mink (aka title 9)
5. Dick Vitale (sorry, I was a fan 15 years ago, your act is old)

Good extra suggestions by all...speaking of OJ, what's the difference between OJ and John Elway? Whereas OJ was caught in a slow white Bronco, Elway WAS a slow white Bronco...

New names to add to a good list:

1. Tracy McGrady (crying, excuses, forgetting opponents' names, disappearing in the 4th quarter of playoff games)

2. Barack Obama's Preacher (Hates White People)

3. Kobe Bryant (still a rapist... waiting for next week to take the Jazz out on a "friendly date"

4. Barack Obama's Wife (Hates America)

5. Vlade Divac (Original King of the NBA Floppers Movement)

6. Barack Hussein (Hates Media Exposure of who he really is)

7. Andre Kirilinko (eh, whiner has gotten a free pass lately)

8. Paula Abdul (worthless)

9. Allen Iverson (ugly tattoos)

#1: David Stern/Stu Jackson.

This is from the Boston Herald:
According to league spokesman Mark Broussard, the NBA will hand out no suspensions as a result of the altercation that took place between Celtics forward Kevin Garnett and Hawks center Zaza Pachulia during Game 4. Celtics center Kendrick Perkins [stats] and Hawks forward Marvin Williams faced possible league suspensions for leaving the bench during the matter, in which Garnett and Pachulia had to be separated.
...
In last year's playoffs, the NBA came under great scrutiny for suspending Phoenix forward Amare Stoudemire [for doing exactly what Perkins and Williams did], in particular, for Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals. The series was tied at 2, and the San Antonio Spurs went on to win Games 5 and 6 en route to the league title.

When the league suspended Diaw and Stoudemire last year, Stu Jackson talked about how rules are rules and they have to enforce them. And while I didn't like it, I could accept it.

That is, until later in the year, when the NBA discovered that virtually all their referees gamble (which is against the rules). So rules are rules and the league has to punish all the refs, right? No. They changed the rules and let all the refs off the hook.

And now this Celtics/Hawks incident happens at a game both Stern and Jackson attended in person!!! And nothing happens!

Bull. The Suns are like the Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA. Fan favorites and All-Stars and MVPs aplenty, but they still can't get any respect, from the league or the officials.
