Looks like another Urban snub will provide Chambers with the motivation he really needs:
Coach Meyer told me I wasn't fast enough to play football at Florida," Chambers said. "He tried to be nice about it, but he told me straight up I wasn't good enough to play for him. It really surprised me when he said it. I thought, 'OK. That's fine. I'm going to show you.' "
Chambers has used Meyer's snub, along with other slights, as motivation to turn in strong performances in football, basketball and track and field this year. He earned a scholarship to play football at BYU, where he plans to walk on to the track and basketball teams, but he is still hungry for more evidence Meyer was wrong.
He is among dozens of athletes who will try to prove themselves today at the Class 1A state track and field championships and Saturday at the 2A meet at Showalter Field in Winter Park.

Hopefully Urban will continue to not be able to keep his mouth shut and
in turn help us get more great recruits. So I just wanted to say "Thanks" Urban -
we'll take him.
