The Mavs have now fired their head coach who amassed a win percentage of .735ish---the guy who openly opposed the geriatrics movement that brought Jason Kidd to town and ended the Mavericks tenure as a contender.
Here's to rebuilding!
Agreed, Mark Cuban is willing to take risks, but he doesn't know basketball. He overpaid Marquis Daniels after overachieving for half a season (finally dumped that salary on the Pacers), He let Steve Nash go , Paid a boatload for Erik Dampier (their Greg Ostertag), aside from inheriting Dirk; and Howard and Terry working out better than expected, he's done more harm than good with that team.
The problem is that they're not getting younger and Kidd is losing his value; while the Trailblazers, Lakers, are young and getting better every day.
I think he's probably a really good boss though, when you're winning. Their window might have closed, Dirk may never get a ring in big D.
