The comparison of the Division 2 playoffs is not relative. The schools in Division 2 do not have the same fan base.
I was thinking the same thing much less the same facilities, attendance, etc...
Isn't the purpose of a play-off, to see who is the best team, period? I don't care if the team draws 5,000 spectators. If they beat the other guy, that's it. They're the best. Take Appalachian State over Michigan. I'm not sure how many people they draw to their games, but it's not as many as the Wolverines. It just made a bunch more people upset is all.
