Notice who was on the outside looking in in terms of non-Cartel teams?

That's 3 out of like 30, or 10% of the top 30 programs come from non-Cartel teams. Please, someone refresh my memory, is this how it's always been since, say, the mid-80's?

Yes it's the way it has always been.

If you look at the 43 teams that have been ranked in the AP poll most frequently since 1936, 42 of them are currently in BCS conferences. Only BYU (#34) isn't currently in a BCS conference.

I was surprised that Fres. ST. was not on there not that I believe they should be but that everyone else is talking about them.
