And the Jazz Collapse Begins!! 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: -3

I don't like Kobe and I don't like the Lakers, but I couldn't be happier about today's results. The fact that L.A. was awful just one year ago shows which direction each team is going. Docking my karma won't take my smile away.

Keep it classy Jazz fans!

I actually thought the Jazz played pretty well considering. I was only able to really watch the 4th quarter, but coming from 19 down on the road to make it a fairly close game is impressive. I think the Jazz will continue to get better, I think this is only the beginning for them. The fact that they've been winning games and been in games when they haven't been shooting well is a good sign.

What will ultimately haunt them and be their demise in the playoffs this year is their inconsistent defense throughout the year. If they can fix that for next year, they'll have a very good chance of making it to the finals.

Just for full disclosure, I am NOT a jazz fan at all. Actually, I'm sort of a man without a team now that my sonics are moving to Oklahoma city.

Yeah, I'm not too sure I saw the loss tonight as the beginning of the end. Despite playing on the road with one day's rest after a physical series against a team coming off 5 days' rest after a laugher of a series, the Jazz still had the advantage in the second half, and were still very much so in the game will 100 seconds left.

Then look at the stat sheet, and despite shooting 8% worse from the field, 29% worse from 3, 9% worse from the stripe and attempting 16 fewer FTs, the Jazz still were in the game, and only lost by 11.

The Jazz had a terrible, turnover/mistake ridden first half, and then they came out, tidied things up and played a solid second half. I expect the series to go the way of the second half, and I expect either a Jazz win in 6, or the Lakers in 7. I don't think LA wins in Salt Lake, but I do think the Jazz have a shot on Wednesday at taking one at Staples, especially if LA gives up 25 offensive rebounds again.

I actually couldn't disagree with the premise of your post more. Sure, the Jazz lost, but how many people actually expected them to win anyway. The lakers are the best team in the NBA, with arguably the best player in Kobe . They fell down by 19 early on the road, and cut that lead to 5 late in the 4th. Boozer was a turnover machine today, and Dwill and Korver were especially awful today. How many games will that happen? Not many, and especially not in the ESA. The Jazz played terribly, and yet kept the game close. I'm not sure how you say the Lakers played poorly. Kobe scores 38, guess what HE IS THE LAKERS. I take a lot of positives away from the game today.

GO JAZZ!!!!!!!

The spurs and the celtics are both better. The lakers won't make it to the finals this year.

I thought the Lakers did not play as well as I thought they were going to. Kobe shot the ball so much no wonder he scored 40. Jazz could of had a chance to win that game but shots taken by Harpring and Korver that were close enough to the basket to make but missed cost them the game...Oh well.
GO JAZZ
