I think the Jazz will continue to get better, I think this is only the beginning for them.

...Just for full disclosure, I am NOT a jazz fan at all. Actually, I'm sort of a man without a team now that my sonics are moving to Oklahoma city.
It seemed to me like the Jazz got worse the longer the series with Houston went.

And sorry about Seattle, I feel bad for you with that whole mess.

Yeah, I'm not too sure I saw the loss tonight as the beginning of the end.
Well it certainly wasn't the beginning of the 3rd round for the Jazz.

I actually couldn't disagree with the premise of your post more. Sure, the Jazz lost, but how many people actually expected them to win anyway.
I AM hatin' in this thread and I won't try to claim otherwise.

I'm not sure if I agree. I thought the Celtics would win it all... BEFORE I watched their series with the Hawks. And I thought the Spurs would beat the Hornets... BEFORE I saw Game 1 in New Orleans. Now I won't be surprised to see the Lakers win it all again like old times (the bad times). I will be very surprised if the Jazz beat L.A. though. And if they meet Chris Paul after that, they'll win that series hands-down.

The lakers are the best team in the NBA, with arguably the best player in Kobe :X. They fell down by 19 early on the road, and cut that lead to 5 late in the 4th. Boozer was a turnover machine today, and Dwill and Korver were especially awful today. How many games will that happen? Not many, and especially not in the ESA. The Jazz played terribly, and yet kept the game close. I'm not sure how you say the Lakers played poorly. Kobe scores 38, guess what HE IS THE LAKERS. I take a lot of positives away from the game today.

GO JAZZ!!!!!!!

Ok, I'll give you the spurs are probably better, but they sure didn't look like the best team in the NBA last night, and the Celtics STRUGGLED against the HAWKS, I mean the FREAKING HAWKS,the worst team to make the playoffs in years!!!! They have been a shell of themselves since the playoffs started. I'll be SHOCKED if the C's make it to the finals.

Sacramento Kings fan. I don't like the Jazz because they're based in Salt Lake City, same as the University of Utah. I don't like the yewts to have anything to be happy about sports-wise when their own bball team stinks, like the last few years. And I'm not from Utah.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned that the Jazz have the best home record in the NBA bar none. When you win at home, there's no "beginning of the end" after one road loss.

And whoever said the Celtics are better than the Lakers didn't just watch the Atlanta series.

I thought the Lakers did not play as well as I thought they were going to. Kobe shot the ball so much no wonder he scored 40. Jazz could of had a chance to win that game but shots taken by Harpring and Korver that were close enough to the basket to make but missed cost them the game...Oh well.
GO JAZZ

Actually he only shot around 16 times. Had around 8 FG's!!!! He went to line so many times I lost count. Talk about BAD officiating; BOTH WAYS....
There was ZERO consistancy in the calls tonight. You could body someone up down low but then if Kobe takes a shot and Has his leg kick someone in the nuts in the follow through, ITS A FOUL....... It almost looked as though the refs called a lot of fouls on the lakers in the third to make up for the HUGE differential in FT at half... MANY BAD CALLS..
The Jazz lost because of 2 big area's.
The biggest- FG %. The Jazz came back from the 19 points and then got it to 4 and went cold. Harpring missed like 3 in a row, Korver missed around 3 and D-will missed open looks.
The second is TO's. This area was how the Lakers got up by 19, Points off TO's were huge.

Ultimatly I thought the Jazz played Very good Dfense, ESP. AK... They had 8 blocks for the game!!! Key word good Defense not Great.. Good enough to win the game... Game was lost on the offensive end of the floor.
Mars its kinda funny to here a NON PLAYOFF TEAM fan talk trash. The Jazz are a top 3 team in my book(top 2 according to Charles Barkley )
When the Jazz play their game they are the best... Look at games 1 and 2 at Houston... And mix that with road win at NO, Boston, LA, Denver, Phx. The home record is self explanatory...
I am going with the Jazz in 6 or Lakers in 7...

(yes I know the speeling is bad---It's late)
