So before today I had never heard of the guy, but unfortunately seeing the guy in custody and hearing he was supposed to be playing football at BYU wasn't my favorite introduction. My guess is he's likely not making it to the football field in Provo since he is facing some serious charges, but does anyone know if he had already been let go or what ever happened and why he wasn't already in Provo? Apparently he is quite a talent. Let me know if you guys know something.
What did he do, I don't see anything on him. He was actually a really nice conversion story to the church, though it seemed his chances of actually playing for the "Y" were slim, at least from an article I read.

Unfortunately, there are also a reports of an arrest. However, there appears to be more than one Donald Salter arrested in more than one jurisdiction. Let's not jump to conclusions.
Did anyone else notice the name of the high school where he played football? A.A. Stagg. It could be a good omen. Not too many high schools out there named after football coaches.

Actually the school is named after Albert Alphonso Stagg, the studious nerdy younger brother of Amos.
Well, Bengel, when the way I came to know this guy is because someone told me he was supposed to play for BYU's football team (because that person knew I was a fan/alum), I think we can safely assume that it is the same guy. I'm glad there hasn't been a lot of publicity since it seems normally Utah's local media loves to throw Mormon mistakes to the wolves, but I am curious to know more.
