I hope this works out well for Trent... but like most of you, my gut is telling me this isn't all candy and roses... I hope he didn't get duped, and I hope he represents BYU well at the next level.

I take this all back. This was based on lovelldog's earlier post claiming Plaisted hired an agent to get an invite to the workouts. If Bartelstein did indeed pick him up, then Plaisted is not fighting for an invite - he is fighting for the FIRST ROUND. Great decision for him. Good luck to him in the USA!


I never said that. He would have gotten an invite with or without an agent. Having an agent I believe just makes everybody look at you more seriously because you are committed.
