He is a former player, as was McGregor, although I don't remember when he played exactly. There is a part of me that thinks he played early or mid-80s, but I might be wrong about that.
I don't think Cruiser was a staff member, because I think he probably would have been fired for reporting such things on-line. I just think that Cruiser was very close to many within the program.
