It was a star-studded camp at BYU on Friday with many top LDS prospects from across the country putting their abilities on display in front of BYU coaches.

Coming out from Reno, California is McQueen High School star Kyle Van Noy, who not only enjoyed the camp but also got the chance to meet many top LDS athletes being recruited by the Cougar coaching staff.

This guy is a stud. Having live in Northern Nevada, McQueen HS is the football powerhouse N of Las Vegas. This guy would be a nice addition

i think van noy is an interesting prospect. i know that different schools want him for different positions, including lb, wr, and te. byu on the otherhand told him that they didn't care which position he ended up playing, they just wanted him to come.

from what i understand, he stayed in the wr rotation the entire camp saturday, though i don't know if that means anything as it was a nike camp. another interesting fact, it was a timpview kid (travis van leeuwen) who won the wr mvp at the camp.

He's a hard one to read. Sometimes he acts like he doesn't even know who BYU is and sometimes he really talks 'em up.

He is certainly a talent and a freak of an athlete. Funny story... When he was having an interview with Bronco during Junior Day, he kept calling Bronco "Bishop".
