That would never happen, but if it did it would be a terrible decision. The best part about the stadium is the view of the mountains. When visitors come to LES they are amazed at the beauty and to take that away would be a stupid idea. Imagine not being able to see the Y on the mountain.

Why not fill in the stadium and move the Y higher on the mountain.
I gotta agree with Loopycoug, they could always move the Y. Though, as a former westsider, the deck wouldn't entirely obscure the Y except possibly those in the lower north side of the west stands. The revenue generated by filling those extra seats could help fund other cougar sports teams.
I don't know about you, but when I'm in the stadium I'm watching the game or a fly by when AF comes to town. For me Y mountain doesn't fit into it, as I sit on the east side.
Lol. Don't worry, I have my full attention focused on the game and I sit on the East as well (Cougar United.)
I was more referring to the overall feel of the stadium, especially for visitors that aren't used to the cool scenery and atmosphere.
