I'm looking forward to the season. I'll miss Trent's presence, but I think we'll be just fine if not better. We ought to have some more size on the court, JT will be better, Lee is awesome and we should have better PG play.

I am thrilled Cummard will be back...I would love to seem him back about 15 pounds heavier though. Can he do off season conditioning with the football team? He will 'work' his way onto an NBA roster next year somehow. I am afraid Plaisted will be checking college boxscores from Europe somewhere wonderin what if????

That is great recognition by that writer. Lee Cummard, I think, is one of the most underrated players in the country no one knows about, if not- THE most underrated. He's gonna be great next year for them...I'm always looking forward to coll bball season, but this one coming up, along WITH football, is really gonna be exciting. And NOW, BYU'll have pro scouts at alot of home games, too. Lee deserves consideration from the pros. He's GOT great talent, defensive ability, versatility, etc...
Even if he WAS a 2nd rounder next yr, boy- some team'd REALLY get a steal.

Lee is the man. What more can I say?
Don't forget, BYU will have Jackson Emery back this year. My wife's uncle is his stake president and he told me several weeks back that he released Jackson from his mission and had a nice chat with him. Pretty stoked to see him back on the court for the Cougs.

Over the last two years I have always been impressed with Cummard. Even though Keena and Trent were the poster boys I loved Cummard's stat line at the end of games. He had points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. Not only that but they all seemed to come at the right time. He would block a shot, snag the ball and lob it down court for a huge play. His impressive stat line usually influenced the game more than anyone else's singular performance. He is the best clutch player on the team, which extends to his offense, but more so to his defense and team play.

Plus he is extremely fun to watch as he goofs around during warm ups. I think this is some great pub for him heading into next season. I don't think that he is underrated, he is the returning POY. I'm looking forward to this season as Lee is poster boy of the team and hopefully leads them to their first NCAA tourney victory under Rose.
