Any thoughts on the defense? How did the secondary look? The DL?

Yeah, he looked pretty good. He scored at least one touchdown and had a few other good runs. Why didn't we see Brown?

Tico Pringle made a nice breakup near the endzone. There were a few good breakups. Defense won the battle. Hope the defense can keep working on those breakups and all that they did. I was hoping for some long bombs, but maybe they wanted to take it easy today. Defense also got 2 sacks credited to them. It seemed like the defense had the hardest time stopping Fui. Did anyone notice anything else with the defense? I'm not the best analyzer of these types of things, but these were my observations.

When Max Hall threw it to the ground, was that just a misread or just a terrible throw?

I'd say defense and runningbacks looked the best today.

Hudson wasn't too impressive. Wayne Latu ran very well as did Vakapuna. Max Hall wasn't playing (I think you're talking about McEuen's throw). There were too many dropped balls, MJ and So'oto are the one's I can remember. Andrew George had a really nice TD catch. Jan Jorgensen got stiff armed by Fui, but then he made up for it with a nice sack. I think the defense will be better this year.

Did the defense look good because the O line was bad? There was talk that the o line was down with injuries and limited on personnel.

And yes, did CB not play from what others are reporting?

I don't know, I think Hudson looked pretty dang good and against better talent. Latu is so hard to judge because we only ever see him against 7th string guys, or UNLV (same thing). I'm not taking anything away from Latu, but you do have to consider that.
