If Hall doesn't score 18+ per game we lose every time. Period. There is no one else on this team we can count on consistently for points. My BIG issue with Cleveland is really simple: HE CAN'T GET HIS TEAMS TO CONSISTENTLY SCORE IN THE 70'S OR 80'S.
He gets his guys to play good defense but the problem over the last 7 years has always boiled down to the teams inability to consistently put up 70+. The teams that did were the ones with real offensive talent. My point being is that a good coach should be able to build a system where you can consistently score. We don't have to be a 80 point team a night but we do have to get to the 70's to win. Scoring 51 and 53 points in your first two games, no matter who you are playing, is REALLY, REALLY poor.
I consistently see Cleveland's teams have LARGE scoring gaps where we will go 4, 5, 6, 7 minutes sometimes without a basket. For all of Reid's faults, his teams NEVER did that. He always had set plays he could got to and get points. What is the deal with Cleveland's team not being able to consistently feed the post? I am a college basketball junky and I call it like I see'em. I LOVE Y basketball but I am very concerned about the consistent trend I see with his teams.
