As you know, we don't carry the Mountain West Network (the MTN) right now, but we’re in discussions with the programmer and we can’t discuss the details of our ongoing negotiations. Be assured that we’re working very hard to add this exciting sports network to our channel lineup.

We often add programming based on customer requests, so thank you for letting us know how much you want to watch sports on the MTN. I have forwarded your request to DIRECTV management.

Hopefully something gets done before next season

Whichever one (Dish or DirecTV) picks it up first will be what I choose when I move to Ohio. I love Comcast (never had a problem with it, really like the cable internet), but they are not the cable provider there, TimeWarner is, and I would prefer not to deal with any company that is associated with America Online again.

It is the "ongoing discussions" that sounds the same. It is hard to know if this statement is more serious or just a positive spin to get potential customers to commit to DIRECTV.

...or the same statement they've been giving since last June?

I suggest that you join me in emailing Comcast and pestering them to make the channel available nationwide, or at least explain why this channel isn't available on Comcast outside of a few MWC cities.

You going to Ohio for residency? What part of Ohio? Last year I watched six games total (including the LV Bowl!) Dish or somebody better get moving on this! The rest were spent listening to them on KSL.com
