I have found Cruiser to be an extremely reliable source. I can't recall anything material that he was wrong on.

On a somewhat related note, I was somewhat perturbed at a little blurb written by Gordon Monson http://blogs.sltrib.com/monson/ that was poking at Mendenhall for not making a decision on announcing a definite starter at QB. According to Monson, it would be better to make the announcement now rather than wait until fall. Good grief, last year Kwhitt had three outstanding quarterbacks (tic) and he didn't make a decision until the week of the game. I don't recall Monson criticizing Kwhitt at the time. No, I remember that the media were all saying how great the U would be regardless of who played QB. In fact, they were all better than John Beck and had the capability of throwing 100 yards :o

As if Bronco really cares about what GM has to say...or even think!

Thanks, mcgregor, but the fact is, you are usually beating me to the board. More than once, I've written something up then taken a look at the board to see if anybody has already said it, and there you are. On the one hand, it kind of bums me out, but on the other, it's good to know that what I had written was on the mark---until your post made me erase it.
