poppaWhen I read this article about Sete being nominated for the rimington trophy I was really impressed with his stats from last year. You rarely hear any talk about the guy but his stats were outstanding. He had 108 knockdowns and had an "efficiency rating of 167.08 -- the second best efficiency rating in the nation." He also gave up only one sack. Not bad for a first year Div. 1 player. But I do remember some snap problems earlier in the year but I think he will be a key player for us this upcoming year!

The only snapping problems that Sete had during the season were claimed by Beck. Beck said that it is the QBs job to let the snapper know where the ball is getting to and that he had not mentioned it to Sete. Once he did there was no problem.
From the spring game I do not remember many bad snaps to Hall and that would have been who Sete was snapping to. All the second team snaps, I believe were being handled by Tom Sorenson a former all conference freshman. Tom of course had knee problems last year and sat out most of spring practice healing the knee. He will not need to play at the center spot this year and will be just fine next year when it comes time for him to play.
