My favorite was seeing Michigan lose. It makes me think of last year, when they were lobbying for a spot in the NC game, and it confirms the fact that Michigan is overrated!

The Notre Dame loss makes me the happiest. I just hate them so much. Charlie Weiss comes across as so arrogant and cocky to me, and as if that weren't enough, everyone in the media seems to build him up as a genius and give him preferential treatment. The media is always so quick to hype up Notre Dame when they do something even remotely well. An interesting fact about Notre Dame is that they've lost their last 9 bowl games and haven't even won a bowl game in 13 years! Why is that you ask? Well, due to the fact that they always get perks/benefits that they don't deserve, they are often invited to bowl games that they have no business being in. It's great that they lost today, but if they beat Penn St. next week, they'll probably be ranked in the top 15.

I actually wouldn't have minded seeing Utah beat Oregon State even though I found it impossible to root for the Utes on Thursday. I don't like the Pac-10 snobbery that seems to be so pervasive and I generally like seeing MWC teams knock off teams from BCS conferences.

Have I mentioned Utah? A Utah loss is always my favorite no matter what else is going on. I think the main reason why is because I don't have to listen to Ute fans run their mouths, for the most part.

This morning in one of my meetings, our Elder's Quorum Pres was talking about the Stake Golf Tournament on the 22nd. It has been changed from 18 holes to 9 because of BYU's homecoming game. He said that he didn't know why anyone would care. He is a Ute fan but marginally so. He actually cheers for the Y when they aren't playing Utah and was just getting in some good natured ribbing. Our Bishop said, "I think it is because they are the only team winning right now." I have always sustained my Bishop but today he made me proud!

BTW, when he said that he didn't know why anyone would care I raised my hand saying that I did.

Definitely Michigan! How can you not love watching a 1AA team walk into the big house and punk one of the most overrated teams in recent memory? FANTASTIC!

Besides, I never like to see teams get decimated by injury (even if it is the Yewts). And Notre Dame is my favorite team (after BYU).
