i noticed two years ago that when i wore my white byu shirt, we never seemed to do as goodas when i wore my blue one. bronco mendenhall must have noticed this also, hence, the push to wear blue. unfortunately, my "fully invested" shirt came a day too late for the game yesterday. i didn't get it in time to put it on while we were playing. the good news is that i now have one in my possession. tulsa has no chance.

Sorry guys, but this loss is my wife's fault. She was chatting with friends during the first half, and BYU couldn't get it together. Her friends left at halftime. She then came and watched, and as soon as she sat down, we exploded. At the beginning of the fourth she got up again to start the clean up process. I blame this on her, and she accepts responsiblity.

"I am Spartacus!" "I am Spartacus!"... You guys are great. I hate to break it to you but the blame is on me. The first half I watched the game and boy was it ugly. As halftime was ending, my wife reminded me that she needed some fresh blackberries for a big Relief Society shindig....so down to the river I went to hunt up some fresh ones...sure enough, as I tracked the game on my blackberry, here came the comeback....but alas! I could not find enough fresh berries to last the whole second half and returned home right about at "the" fumble....If only I had scavenged for a few more....alas, at least they weren't the red rasberries....

I appreciate the efforts y'all are making to account for the loss, but I have the real cause. One of the guys watching with us had to leave for a little while just before halftime. Suddenly, we drive for a field goal, then follow that up with two TD's to start the 2nd half. We talked about it among ourselves and were going to lock the door on him when he came back. Unfortunately, as Bronco noticed our "execution" was not quite there and he got back in the house in time to generate the fumble and eventual loss. Next time I'll be quicker with the key and "execute with perfection"!
