I haven't seen any other games on CSTV. do they all sound and look as horrible as the BYU vs Nm game I witnessed last evening? that was seriously pathetic. As much as I love BYU I found myself more into the Washington vs Sc and Fl Auburn games simply because of presentation and announcers. Did the fact that the game was in NM with about 40 fans affect the atmosphere? or does CSTV just stink?

If you thought that was bad, try watching the mtn. Are you one of the 18 people in the universe that actually picks up the mtn? If not, then you'll get the mental pictures of the game painted by Wrubel, Lyons and Meikle, and as bad as CSTV is, I prefer actually seeing the game to imagining it (and I used to be a sportscaster). If MWC's contract was with CSTV or VS instead of the mtn, the MWC would have more national respect.

But I've got to admit, CSTV and VS currently remind me of ESPN of 20 years ago ... I guess that's not all that bad after all, is it?

It was interesting going back and forth from ESPN (UF vs Auburn) and the BYU game. I felt like from the presentation I was watching a high school game.

They did show a few crowd shots, of the same 10 fans. No bands, no sense of energy...if I wasn't a BYU or UNM fan I'd have turned that over immediately.

I want to see Jay "Idontknowsquataboutfootball" Monsen back calling BYU games. It kept me on my toes because he always had the wrong names and numbers, and I miss some of his classics: "Its the running play" and "It's complete to Detmer. First down for the BYU team".

Hey the camera work and announcers might suck, but at least I can watch it. VS & CSTV are still above the MTN b/c people outside of Utah County can watch the game.

Marv Albert wasn't too bad but his little announcer friend was awful! I couldn't count the number of times he said things like "great catch! Oh wait, that was incomplete".

He also massacred the players names and even called Bronco "Bronco Long" when they were interviewing him after the game.

Hopefully CSTV will bench him for the rest of the season or relegate him to calling Yewt games.

I kept switching to the ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC games because they were all in HD.
