It will not improve our exposure nationally that much. I hate to say it, but being in ESPN's camp is a big deal. Hopefully going undefeated next year will force exposure.
Personally, I think being in BOTH camps is ideal. I live in Ohio. I love College Football. There are some nights where I will watch whatever is on. If there are two options, I'll pick one. Being on the national market will allow people like me to occassionally come across an MWC game. It's small exposure, but it helps. More importantly, a writer out here can actually watch an MWC game, and subsequently vote according to that performance.
But being in ESPN's pocket helps as well. I know the administration does not prefer Thursday night games, but in reality, that's a PERFECT opportunity to showcase your team. NO ONE ELSE IS THERE TO DISTRACT!
