From everything I have heard and read you can thank the Big 10 and Pac-10 for stalling all talks on a playoff. They evidently are getting pretty fat on the Rose bowl and don't want that to ever go away. Hence a three loss Ill to the Rose bowl instead of ASU to some other bowl and a big 12 or sec team to the Rose bowl. They are eating their own children!
Just remember this is all "HYPOTHETICAL!":laugh:
But it's good to dream once in a while.:lol:
Another example of a hypothetical dream would be Hawaii beating Georgia.

What part of Reality would that be? Colt brennan winning the Heisman? or Hawaii beating Georgia? Ya neither of them are going to happen. The last time The bows were in Lousiana they were lucky to escape with a win in Rustin against Lousiana Tech. In overtime. Ya this time in New Orleans it's not going to over time. The Dogs will win by three touchdowns easily!

If BYU had been involved in all of the history of the Rose Bowl, I would seriously doubt any true fans would want to do away with it. It has just so much history, and I always enjoy the big-10/pac-10 matchup. but what do I know, I grew up in Pac-10 country.
