So Hawaii's Colt Brennan shatters Ty's record of the most passing yards by a college QB and a lot of you guys don't think he deserves the Heisman. Why?

Ty actually played some good teams in his effort. #1 Miami comes to mind. Maybe I missed it but I don't think Hawaii beat LSU this year.

So what... both played in mediocre conferences their entire career. Are you telling me that since Brennan hasn't played or beaten a #1 team, Ty's accomplishment is superior?

Yes, I think Ty's accomplishments are superior. Competition is everything, and Detmer played better OOC games. Had he put up those numbers in a BCS conference they would probably be calling him the greatest college QB ever, but he didn't, so they don't. and thats fair.
