No one cares about the whole surpassing Ty thing. Records are made to be broken. Your dreaming if you think that's why people don't like him.

Personally, I never really had strong feelings one way or another about Brennen, (exept for the whole rape thing), but I was a little suspect of Hawaii's schedule. You know the whole 2 1AA teams thing and all... but I digress.

But watching him today at the ceremony cemented why I never pulled for him. It was worse than watching Brady Quinn at the NFL draft. At least Brady appeared somewhat nervous. From my perspective, Brennen appeared cocky. Almost as if to say," just give me my trophey already." Not my cup of tea. Glad he didn't win for that reason alone.

I can't believe that some of you BYU fans of a sudden are struck with "AMNESIA!" Once again can we please not forget the fact that BYU(at one point) seemed like were making headlines every week with all the "SEXUAL HARASSMENT" casees that your football players were getting themselves into. You bag on Colt but he was aquitted of all charges just like those former players from byu. Which leads me to believe that the only reason some people (in this forum) DISLIKE Colt is because he did better then Max Hall! Relax!

Since the NCAA didn't include bowl games in records back in Ty's day like they do now, I'd like to see them go back and add the stats for bowl games back in. I think it's only fair. I wonder how many records Ty would claim back.

Come on Airwolf, at least give us some consistency. You love to drag any BYU-related accomplishment through the mud by criticizing the Cougs' strength of schedule. Why is UH's SOS not important to you?

If Max were to put up Brennan/Detmer-ish passing #s next year I am 100% positive you'd repeatedly post about how anybody could have that kind of success against MWC defenses.
