I realize this is a BYU fansite, but do you really think it is inconceivable that your coach would go to UCLA? I have no idea if UCLA has even interviewed the guy, but it could be a fairly attractive job for the right candidate (and I have a feeling we'll be paying far more than what we paid Dorrell -- at some point you get what you pay for).

Given that your conference champion gets to play in the Las Vegas Bowl, going to UCLA and vying for the Rose Bowl could be an incentive for quite a few coaches.

If what I've read/heard is correct Bronco is paid around 250k by the university, and then the football boosters chip in a considerable amount to bring it to the reported 900,000 to 1.2 million range. Making it much more in line with other major college coaches.

I would have to agree, especially if UCLA's compensation package is less than what he is earning now. Yeah, it would make sense to leave a quality MWC program where your religion exists for $400,000 less a year in an area where the cost of living is twice what it is where you're at.:laugh:

It's an obvious conspiracy...Wolfie and his Ute buddies are working overtime and in conjunction with UCLA administrators to undermine the bowl game preparations and sow seeds of doubt and fear into cougar minds. They are evil, pot-stirring fear-mongers looking for anything to make the cougars unfocused for the bowl game in hopes that BYU loses; so they (Utes)can say they are better than the cougars for having beaten UCLA; and (Bruins) that they are better than the cougars for having beaten them twice. Bronco is already a mile ahead of them and the team will be focused. BYU wins 24-10.
