Earlier on ESPN, Kirk Herbstreit said that if OSU got embarrassed again it would set the Big 10 back in prestige to the 1960's. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Do you think any one loss Big 10 team gets in the title game next year?

Even more interesting, do you think an undefeated Big 10 team gets in over a one loss SEC, Big 12, or Pac 10 team?

Since the Big 10 is one of the two BCS conferences arguing against a plus one game, are they now negotiating from a position of weakness?

I don't even like LSU, but was pulling for them to win, because I wanted "THE "Ohio State exposed for "THE" fraud they are. I thought that being hosed in the NC game two years in a row, would get them demoted in many peples eyes. Other than people like me who see them, and the Big "crock" 10 for what they are.


Boy, was I wrong. The love OS was getting from the Fox commentators, was unbleievable.

"Oh, they were only picked pre-season #3 anyway", Oh, they are predicted to be great in 08-09 anyway", "oh they only have three seniors starting all the rest are sophmores and red shirt freshman.," Oh, they are not some fly by night team" (I wonder who they were refrencing there?????) I thought,"wow they aren't even waiting until next year to start justifying overrating them.

What a crock. The only solice I had was listening to the three big heads from ESPN not pick them in thier preseason top 5.

This game should have exposed the Big 10 for what it is: weak. But instead it highlighted what the Big 10 really is: Strong TV numbers.

Those midwest dials just tune in. After all, what else can you do in those states right now? They already shoveled twice this morning.

The FOX guys were saying at the end of the game that OSU deserved to be there in spite of being embarrassed two years in a row because "They aren't exactly a Johnny-Come-Lately program."

This is the kind of trash I hate the most. If you get schooled two years in a row, you didn't deserve to be in the national title game, regardless of your history. And since when does program history make you a good team? Didn't anybody watch Nebraska this year?
