Anyone else notice that Chambers had his jersey scrunched up to his shoulder pads (effectively hiding his number) at the beginning of practice? I had a hard time spotting him... I think after Bronco had the "we" not "me" meeting he felt a little embarrassed about showing his face to Cougar fans for the first time. He also dropped his first two passes during the receiver drills and got some bark from Anae right in front of the crowd. Reed came over and gave him a one-on-one talk after and I didn't see a missed catch after the pow-wow.

I don't mind a little cockiness, but his comments were a bit over the top. That being said, he is fresh out of high school where he was the star player of his team. I'm sure it's difficult for him to take a back seat after a fantastic Senior year. I'm sure he regrets his comments and I think it's time we all move on and hope he proves himself on the field to back up some of his comments.

I love the swagger! Every good team needs a few guys like Chambers!

I recall two other recent recruits who saw playing time their first year as freshmen at BYU. I would love to see Chambers follow the same route. (pun intended.)

Seriously, if he can just follow the same pattern they did he'll be fine.

Okay, help me out here. Did Bronco just really give "not being raised in a 2 parent family" as an excuse for Chambers? I understand what he was saying, but he sure didn't even need to add that in.
