Looks like the Dolphins want a 4th Rounder for him. I'm disappointed because I don't think he got a fair shot. Hopefully if he does go to a new team, he can continue to develop into the type of NFL quarterback that I think he has the potential to become.

PS--It doesn't appear that this has been in any other recent posts from what I could tell after a quick check. Apologies in advance if already posted....

Ouch. Even more painful were the "fan" comments that followed!

I'm a huge Dallas fan and I would happily lose a 4th rounder for Beck!

These guy's get a bee in their bonnet if you post something that has been posted 15 hours ago... I just received neg for it over a post I didn't completely research. ZERO TOLLERANCE BABY.

Beck deserves better.

Because only BYU fans know what Beck is capable of, Beck has already been discarded. The writing on the wall appeared the second Parcells arrived. The tuna is notorious for making things work with his guys, and Beck wasn't his guy. He will probably be released with no compensation (to the Dolphins), and hopefully he will land in a home that has a questionable QB situation, but has a solid group of supporting players (Vikings, Buccaneers, Lions). If he doesn't get an opportunity to compete, he will spend a few years on the sidelines w/ a clip board, before he moves on with his life.

I only get a bee in my bonnet when articles get posted 3-5 times and when the original thread(s) is/are on the front page.

I couldn't be more happy that he's probably leaving the Dolphins. I made a horrible vow to my then-companion when Beck was drafted that "I will be a fan of whoever John Beck plays for"... and I'm getting sick of following the dolphins.

I think, and I stole this notion from shakeNbake, that Beck would be a good fit in Tampa. Another option as far as I'm concerned? Carolina. Possibly Chicago. Just anywhere but Miami- that place is a death trap and will be for a while...
