I read this on Jay Drew's blog and was wondering if anyone can tell me which reporters were involved. I think it's kind of funny. I can picture a couple of different reporters doing this. What do you guys think?

Here's the quote: "There was a minor (very minor) flareup between reporters today as they were interviewing Mendenhall after the scrimmage, which in and of itself is not newsworthy. One reporter was trying to ask a question and was having trouble getting it in so finally, in desperation, he asked the others to hold their tongues so he could talk. The little exchange drew a puzzled look from Mendenhall.

The reason I bring this up is because a few minutes after the mass interview, as Mendenhall was leaving the field, he passed me and another reporter and quipped, "Am I going to have to bring boxing gloves for you guys?""

Apparently reporters only report on names of individuals when the flare up is between coaches and players, but when it's "their own" they keep the details out of the press.

Wow. What a boring camp if exchanges between reporters are getting reported! Boring is good. I'm just glad they didn't let Liz Franc participate in practices this year.

Kevin Graham was reported to be one of the participants. Not sure who the others combatant(s) was/were.

Was he the one whining about not getting to ask a question?

The question was probably about how much he hates his wife.
