Sitting here late at night with a sick feeling in my stomach. I sell cars for a living (or at least to pay the morgage while I go to school), and we work every saturday no exceptions. Well, I have been around a while so I made a deal with my boss that If i hit a certain number of cars per month i could go to the games on saturday and make up the time. I havent missed a game since my mission and am not about to start now.

Well I have been working extra hours and trying really hard; every month so far reaching the goal. I thought I would cruise through August because its usually a hot month but things have really slowed down with the economy in such a flux. I am sitting here realizing that i am going to have to kill it this week to make my goal. If I dont by saturday I am going to miss the first game and then ill miss septembers games too. I even paid for cougar club seats this year... SO LAME!

Do any of you work saturdays? What would you do?

Maybe ill quit!!!!LOL!

LOL. that's too bad. Quitting is always an option when work starts interfering with one of 4 things.

2. Family
3. BYU sports
4. Fun

Just kidding on that last one. I wish I was that talented enough to make such a claim. That really is a bad feeling. Good luck!
I'll be working a lot of Saturdays from now to at least February when my wife has our first kid. (benefits come in handy for those sorts of things, ya know?)

Quit your job,and then scalp your UCLA tickets... that should keep your bank account full for a few months

My boss thinks that work at a car dealership should but put above everything else in your life. He will say something like the following, "Well I missed my sons birthday". Or "I missed my anniversary".

I work 8am to 9pm saturdays, I have a DVR so I can watch the game but there is nothing like the ethreal experience of walking through the portal into a proverbial sea of blue crazy fans; watching the team run on the field, haka, world famouse bratworst fromt he gril, and the mind numbing excitment for each "magic happens" moment!!!

My wife can tell im getting sad about it and tries to interject, "well ill send you a play by play". She a cutie but its just not going to do.
