Ok... Listened today, and it was very... new. But refreshing.
I agree there was not nearly enough BYU talk-- I don't really care that much about the NFL, especially with BYU starting this week.
Darnell was certainly more polished than Reno... but it was listenable...I like how they were open talking about being LDS, and people going on missions. Very refreshing...
It might not be the most polished show yet... but the honesty and heart certainly make up for it...

As for the people who don't hear the clear anti-BYU anti-LDS bias in the other sports talk shows... I don't know what shows you have been listening to, but it certainly isn't Locked on Sports, The big show, the Manly Morning show or DJ and PK in the morning... Each of those annoyingly Anti what I want to hear about. I Follow BYU because I enjoy it, love the school and love my church membership. I don't care about the controversies, I don't care that most of the hosts are too stupid to understand the BYU is about more than football... I like how this new show is small, honest and open about liking BYU and all the things it stands for.

If they don't they aren't doing their job! So you want everything positive and them to ignore some things that are controversial? You've got to be kidding! hahaha. You are the quintissential example of living a sheltered life! Be a good little boy and do as you are told. A few of those talk shows have BYU grad's or players who attended BYU. I think they all like what BYU stands for. Just because they may question certain things about BYU, doesn't mean they don't believe in what it stands for. I think you're both right,,,there is anti-BYU and LDS bias, but we should not be offended and take it with a grain of salt.

I for one enjoy blue colored Kool-aid.

So, if we're not supposed to be offended, why does it offend you so much if yutka prefers a different kind of sports radio? Isn't that what America (and within America, Utah) are all about? People creating a place where they feel more comfortable and welcome? Why does yutka have to drink your kool-aid instead of ours?

Also, if some people prefer living a sheltered life, is that wrong? Personally, I think it's a testament to what makes our country and culture great. People recognized a market that was not being served, and had the freedom to gather the resources and fill that need, and they will be free to succeed or fail based on how well they do it.

Finally, if someone is being defensive, there's a good chance that it is a reaction to someone being offensive. There's nothing wrong with being defensive - in fact, I prefer to see that then someone lying down and taking whatever's dished out. No one's clamoring for Locke to be taken off the air here. They would just like a more palatable alternative.
